There are moments when you pause, look back, and realize just how much God has done.

Our recent “Five Years & Forward” gathering was one of those moments.

From the time guests arrived, the evening was imbued with warmth and intention. Friends gathered, conversations flowed, and our hearts quickly overflowed with gratitude, not only for where God began and what He has done through this ministry, but also for where God is leading next. We seized this opportunity to thank our guests and all of the friends who have supported us and have been part of this journey over the past five years.

We also paused to recognize the vendors who helped make the evening so meaningful. Waxed Crescent provided delicious food that invited guests to linger and connect. Majestic Tails curated refreshing beverages that added a special touch to the experience. And In Full Bloom Flora created a stunning floral collection that allowed each guest to create and take home their own bouquet as a reminder of the night. We highly recommend everyone of these excellent, hard-working small businesses. But beyond the details, the evening was about something deeper.

How It All Began

The Sublime Soiree was born during a time when the world felt uncertain and disconnected. In the midst of a global pandemic, we asked a simple but important question: Would we carry Christ’s hope forward, or retreat in fear? We chose to share His hope.

Through online conversations, interviews, and a renewed focus on Christian hospitality, we began inviting others into a space of encouragement, connection, and truth. What started as a small step of obedience has grown into something far beyond what we could have imagined.

God’s Faithfulness Along the Way

Over the past five years, we have witnessed God’s provision in countless ways. We’ve had the opportunity to interview authors, host gatherings, teach at retreats, publish a book, and come alongside other ministries in meaningful ways. We’ve also experienced personal growth—learning new skills, navigating challenges, and discovering what it truly means to trust God in both the visible and unseen work of ministry.

And in some of life’s most difficult moments, we have encountered God’s presence in ways that have forever changed us. His ability to bring beauty from ashes is not just something we share—it’s something we’ve lived.

Lessons We’ve Learned

As we reflected together, a few truths stood out:

  • God often speaks most clearly in uncertain seasons
  • Ministry requires both sacrifice and surrender
  • Growth happens spiritually and practically
  • Community is not optional—it’s essential
  • And perhaps most importantly, we all (every one of us) are invited to remain “seated” at God’s table, trusting Him fully.

God continues to use hese lessons to shape and inspire how we move forward.

A New Chapter

One of the key moments of the evening was sharing something new, and you are looking at it right now. After recognizing the challenge of clearly communicating who we are and what we do, we partnered with Market Refined Media to help us refine our message and expand our reach. As a result, we introduced our new name and website:

You’re Invited Ministries (www.youreinvitedministries.org)

This updated and redesigned platform allows us to more clearly communicate our mission, connect with others, and continue growing what God has entrusted to us.

Looking Ahead

While we celebrate what God has done, we also recognize that there is more ahead. We shared opportunities for others to partner with us—through prayer, support, and involvement—as we seek to take this ministry to the next level. Because this has never been about us.

There Is Always Room at the Table

As the evening came to a close, guests were invited to reflect, connect, and even create something beautiful to take home. It felt like the perfect picture of what this ministry has always been about.

An open invitation.
A place of belonging.
A reminder that no matter where you are in your story—there is still a seat at the table.

We’re just getting started on this glorious adventure. Please join us!
